Celebrate Pride Month with Xfinity's LGBTQ+ Film & TV Destination

06/26/2024

Comcast NBCUniversal celebrates the stories, organizations, and cultures within LGBTQ+ communities throughout the year. This Pride Month, we're focusing on how Universal Truths connect us through our top-tier content platforms and collaborations with LGBTQ+-led and -serving nonprofits that promote digital equity for all.

Xfinity
Xfinity’s LGBTQ+ Film & TV destination on X1, Flex, and Xumo Stream Box is accessible year-round, offering LGBTQ+ viewers and allies a curated collection of entertainment from hundreds of networks and streaming services.

During Pride Month, we highlight this destination by launching new features and content collections that showcase community-friendly content across our platforms. This year’s theme, “Universal Truths Don’t Change. Love Unites,” focuses on universal principles like “actions speak louder than words,” “show respect, get respect,” and “we all deserve to be loved,” with programming that embodies these values.

New features and collections premiering during Pride Month include curated selections of shows and movies categorized by identity, making it easy for viewers to find content with characters, actors, or themes specific to their community. Viewers can also customize their experience by "theming" their X1 interface with colors from one of six community flags, changing the blue highlight bar and progress bar icons to the selected flag’s colors.

This season’s RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars queens will serve as guest editors for our Pride destination, sharing some of their favorite LGBTQ+ shows and movies. Additionally, we’re bringing back popular Pride features like an updated interactive timeline of LGBTQ+ representation in entertainment and weekly free access to premium LGBTQ+ networks and streaming services, including Here TV (June 3-9), Revry (June 10-16), OUTtv (June 17-23), and Dekkoo (June 24-30).

Customers can access these collections, features, and more by simply saying “Pride” into their voice remote.
