Clorox's Commitment to Human Rights and Sustainable Impact

12/12/2024

Human Rights Day commemorates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948, a landmark document that establishes the inherent rights of all individuals.

Clorox’s achievements are built on strong partnerships, including those who distribute and sell our products, as well as suppliers providing the materials and packaging necessary for production. Our commitment to human rights and community well-being extends beyond our company, as we actively collaborate to drive transparency and expand our positive impact through innovative forums and initiatives.

This year, we strengthened our supplier relationship management by integrating enhanced environmental and social sustainability standards into scorecards, contracts, and practices with key suppliers, aligning with our Business Partner Code of Conduct principles.

Additionally, we continued to partner with organizations such as Action for Sustainable Derivatives, AIM-Progress, Earthworm Foundation, Global Shea Alliance, Responsible Mica Initiative, and Sustainable Coconut Partnership, among others, to advance social and environmental progress throughout our supply chain.
