Dailycsr.com – 22 August 2017 – At Scotiabank organizers showed an improvement on their “past performance”, whereby the “Council for Responsible Sport for Social and Environmental Initiatives” awarded the organisation with the “gold level certification”.
The “Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon”, in short STWM, was held on 16th of October 2016 and the “Canada Running Series” had hosted the event, whereby the same has come under the “Gold Level Certification” of the “Council for Responsible Sport (Council)”.
The event arrived at this level by “improving performance from its first certification effort (silver) in 2015”. The said event of 2016 had more than “25,000 participants”, while it stands out alone at the “only certified event in Toronto”, while there are over “150 total certified events” all over the world.
