In 2023, we deepened our commitment to combating hunger in Bangalore, India, through our collaboration with the Bangalore Food Bank. Our initiatives focused on empowering and assisting the local community.
During FY2023, our employees dedicated over 100 volunteer hours across eight events with the Bangalore Food Bank. This involvement underscores our dedication to uplifting our people, families, and communities by providing essential resources for their well-being.
As part of our annual “Produce for Hunger” initiative in October 2022, coinciding with World Food Day, we contributed 1.1 tons of food to low-income schools and communities in Bangalore.
Our culinary team also held knowledge-sharing sessions at a local non-profit hospitality school, equipping underprivileged young adults in Bangalore with skills for careers in the food industry. Additionally, we supported the Bangalore Food Bank’s School Kitchen Garden Program, educating children about sustainable gardening practices and the journey of food from farm to table, thereby enhancing their understanding of food security.
Our decade-long partnership with the Bangalore Food Bank exemplifies our commitment to fostering the growth of local communities through ongoing support and innovative approaches.
