GoDaddy’s ‘We Love Our Customers’ Event: Listening to Small Business Needs and Insights
At GoDaddy, we take immense pride in being the go-to platform for millions of entrepreneurs building their dreams. We deeply value the trust our customers place in us to help bring their visions to life.

During a recent “We Love Our Customers” event near Seattle, Washington, we were reminded of the ever-changing needs of small business owners. While our platform is designed to support them at every stage, their challenges and aspirations evolve as quickly as technology. To stay aligned with their needs, it’s crucial to hear directly from them. As our CEO, Aman Bhutani, wisely noted, “There’s really no substitute for listening to them directly.”

This in-person event, hosted by GoDaddy leadership, provided a unique opportunity to engage with small business owners, learn about their journeys, and understand their priorities. The core focus of the gathering was simple but impactful: listening. While we dedicate extensive time to researching trends and analyzing data, nothing compares to the depth of insight gained through face-to-face conversations.

We were inspired by the incredible entrepreneurs we met. From a career coaching venture marking a major shift for its founder to a tea brand connecting people through innovative blends, these businesses are far more than just enterprises—they represent legacies, lifelines, and avenues for meaningful change.

Hearing their stories firsthand allowed us to better understand how our tools drive their growth and where we can provide additional support. This event left us with a deeper appreciation for the trust they place in us and valuable insights into improving our offerings.
Here are a few key takeaways from the day:
  • Customers appreciate straightforward advice to enhance their businesses. Resources like GoDaddy’s blog and LinkedIn group are great sources of ideas.
  • Trust emerged as a recurring theme. Our customers trust us with their dreams, and we’re committed to earning and maintaining that trust.
  • Many business owners are reluctant to move away from the software they started with. The upcoming functionality in GoDaddy Airo™, powered by GenAI, will simplify keeping pace with evolving technology.
We’re deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this event and to all customers who share their feedback with us. Their input plays a vital role in shaping the future of our products and services.

At GoDaddy, we’re dedicated to growing alongside our customers, and events like these ensure we’re truly listening and adapting to their needs.
