Dailycsr.com – 29 April 2016 – Hyundai Mobis is widening the opportunities in preparation to “technical exchange” that would secure its “original future car technologies”, whereby making cars environmental friendly and intelligent, an outcome of the automotive industry’s new engine growth.
An announcement made by Hyundai Mobis, on the 28th of April 2016, revealed that the company will be inviting “dozens of local and overseas experts” including researchers and professors to its “industry-academia ‘Technology Forum’” that would take place from May 2016 till November 2016.
In the year of 2010, the technology forum was first started, whereby this year it will be marking its seventh year in a row. The initial aim of the forum was to “actively embracing the knowledge and ideas of external experts from various fields” which would in turn enrich the “R&D capabilities of Hyundai Mobis”.
During the forum, the company will be holding workshops and seminars on technical subjects and acquire “feedback” from the experts coming from various fields. This way, the company would be exploring the possibilities of creating “advanced environmentally-friendly and intelligent vehicle technologies”.
The “Technology Forum” for the year of 2016 has been divided in nine “subcommittees” which mirrors the “latest technological trends”. There will be a total of twenty six technical seminar that will with topics like “DAS (Driver Assistance System), environmentally-friendliness, safety, lamps, design, and materials” among others.
However, the key subjects for the Technical Seminar are enlisted below:

Nevertheless, the “Deep learning-based image recognition technology” steals particular interest in the forum as it is the learning method involved in “artificial intelligence” created by AlphaGo. Throughout the last six seminars a total of “157 local and overseas experts” were present in the forum to discuss on “current issues in automotive research and academic research trends”. Hyundai Mobis’ “Research and Planning Department” Head, Baek Kyung-kuk, said:
