Las Vegas Sands has announced its role as a presenting partner sponsor for the upcoming Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meeting, set for September 23-24 in New York City. This sponsorship underscores the company’s dedication to addressing global economic, social, and environmental challenges.

The CGI event coincides with the U.N. General Assembly and gathers leaders from business, government, and civil society to drive initiatives focused on climate resilience, inclusive economic growth, health equity, gender equality, and humanitarian efforts. Since its launch, CGI has inspired over 4,000 commitments to action, positively impacting nearly 500 million people in more than 180 countries.

Sands Chairman and CEO Robert G. Goldstein highlighted the importance of the event, stating, "This gathering has facilitated crucial dialogue and sparked innovative global action to address the world’s most urgent issues. Our participation reflects our commitment to advancing CGI’s goals and exploring ways Sands can contribute to these critical areas."

Greg Milne, CEO of CGI, emphasized, "This year’s meeting will bring together hundreds of leaders to not only discuss key global challenges but also to implement solutions. We appreciate Las Vegas Sands for supporting the CGI 2024 Annual Meeting and enabling collaboration across sectors to address these pressing issues."
