Maximus has been recognized on Indeed's 2024 Work Wellbeing 100 list, which celebrates the top 100 public companies with exceptional wellness programs. This year’s list was compiled based on insights from nearly one million employees, gathered through a collaboration between Indeed and the University of Oxford’s Wellbeing Research Centre.
"Maximus’ Benefits team is always seeking ways to enhance and improve employee wellness," said Michelle Link, Chief Human Resources Officer. "We understand that companies focusing on health and wellbeing enjoy more satisfied employees, improved retention, and greater business success."
Since 2022, Maximus has introduced several new health and wellness initiatives to better support employees, as noted by Liz Olsen, Employee Wellbeing Manager. Some of the offerings for those enrolled in Anthem medical plans include:
Bloom Digital Physical Therapy: All employees and their covered dependents aged 18 and older can access Sword Digital Physical Therapy through LiveHealth Online. In 2023, Maximus launched the Healthy Backs and Joints program, and in 2024, added Bloom, which focuses on pelvic floor health for women and individuals with vaginal anatomy, addressing conditions related to adulthood, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. Building Healthy Families Program: Expanded in 2024, this program supports families at various stages—whether they’re trying to conceive, expecting a child, or raising young children. Employees who join the program during pregnancy can earn $250 for enrolling in the first trimester and completing the program, or $125 for joining in the second trimester.
