QVC, a leading figure in live video commerce (vCommerce), has announced a collaboration with NYDJ to introduce the brand's inaugural wheelchair-fit design jean exclusively on QVC. This marks NYDJ's first foray into adaptive designs, joining QVC's expanding range of accessible and adaptive products. The jean, named NYDJ Marilyn Straight Adapt-Denim™, addresses the needs of wheelchair users with tailored adjustments, including a higher back rise, lower front rise, flat seams, faux front pockets, and woven tags.

Crafted by the same experts renowned for creating well-fitting women's jeans, the NYDJ Marilyn Straight Adapt-Denim™ features inner elastic adjustments to accommodate different waist sizes, an elastic back waist for added comfort, a functional fly with snap closure, and a pocket-free seat. It's constructed from the brand's soft Sure Stretch® fabric with lift tuck® technology, ensuring both style and functionality.

Rachel Ungaro, GMM and VP of Fashion Merchandising for QVC, expressed pride in collaborating with NYDJ to introduce their first adaptive denim style, emphasizing their shared commitment to inclusive fashion. Ungaro highlighted the importance of offering options that resonate with a diverse audience, ultimately fostering an environment where customers feel represented and confident.

Mark Peters, Director of Consumer Experience & Retail Store Operations for NYDJ, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the brand's dedication to delivering fashion that empowers women of all abilities. Peters noted that the design process involved collaboration with the disability community to ensure not only style and comfort but also ease and independence. He stressed NYDJ's core value of providing the perfect fit for women, with Adapt-Denim™ marking a significant step towards inclusivity.

The NYDJ Marilyn Straight Adapt-Denim Jean Wheelchair-Fit is now available on QVC.com and premiered on-air with NYDJ Brand Ambassador Mark Peters on March 16 at 3 p.m. EST.
