12/08/2023

In a collaborative effort to promote health and hygiene, the Green Bay Packers joined forces with Tork®, a leading name in professional hygiene under Essity, to conclude their initiative “Tackle Hygiene with Every Catch” by contributing hygiene supplies valued at $29,000 to a pair of community-based organizations.

Throughout the initial five home matches of the Packers’ season, Tork committed to a donation of hygiene products worth $250 for each catch by the Packers. With a sum of 116 catches, the total donation amounted to $29,000 in hygiene supplies, which will benefit two commendable local nonprofit organizations. A ceremonial event was conducted on Tuesday by the Packers, Tork, and Packers receiver Jayden Reed to formally recognize the nonprofit recipients and initiate the distribution process. The beneficiaries are:
Pillars—dedicated to providing shelter, support, and solutions for housing challenges in the Fox Cities. Harbor House—committed to offering secure shelter and supportive services for individuals escaping domestic violence in Northeast Wisconsin.
"Craig Benzel, the Packers’ vice president of sales and business development, highlighted the significance of Tork products at Lambeau Field in maintaining the well-being of players, staff, and fans by encouraging healthy hygiene practices. He emphasized the crucial role of proper hand hygiene in disease prevention and expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with Tork in advancing community hygiene through the provision of eco-friendly Tork hygiene products.
Additionally, the campaign included educational messages about hygiene at Lambeau Field, serving as a reminder to fans about the efficient and user-friendly Tork hygiene products available throughout the stadium, both on game days and daily."

“Essity extends our gratitude to the Green Bay Packers for all the contributions they made to help create this opportunity for Pillars and Harbor House as increased hygiene standards are still as important as ever,” said Cindy Stilp, Marketing Communications Director, Essity.

“We are grateful to be part of this community where we employ 900 people at our Service Excellence Center as well as our manufacturing and converting facilities in Appleton, Neenah and Menasha. We are the proud provider of Tork hygiene products to Lambeau Field and we’re proud to support this economy and, together, do some really good work for the health of the people who call the Fox Cities their home.”
