Record-Breaking Game Day Recycling: Tennessee vs. Michigan

07/31/2024

In 2022, we partnered with the University of Tennessee's "Good Sports Always Give Back" program to set a world record by recycling 38,452 pounds of waste. The following year, we challenged the University of Michigan, matching Neyland Stadium against The Big House. Tennessee fans rose to the occasion, recycling an impressive 44,950 pounds of game day waste in a single day.

Our efforts included recycling plastic, aluminum, paper, cardboard, wooden pallets, and composting food donations. This initiative significantly impacts our environment by keeping materials out of landfills and fostering a greener, cleaner future.

Together, fans from both universities made history by diverting a total of 85,211 pounds of game day waste from landfills. Over 200,000 people joined forces, showcasing the power of unity and environmental stewardship. Celebrate with us as we continue this incredible journey toward a sustainable tomorrow.
