In FY24, Sysco achieved several key milestones:
Introduced the One Planet One Table product line, featuring over 3,500 items on Sysco Shop, our e-commerce platform, with sales growth exceeding that of non-assortment items. Surpassed our 2025 coffee sourcing goal, with 36.7% of Sysco Brand whole bean and ground coffee coming from certified sources and 45.8% sourced through verified responsible sourcing programs. Maintained our commitment to the Southern Plains Grassland Program, collaborating with partners to allocate $7.4 million in grants in FY24 to promote sustainable beef production practices. Exceeded $1 billion in spending with certified diverse Tier 1 suppliers. Implemented new packaging guidelines for suppliers, reducing 83,000 pounds of corrugate by switching Sysco Brand exterior packaging from white to kraft corrugate cases. Additionally, we eliminated approximately 2.3 million pounds of plastic by phasing out single-use bottles at Gilchrist & Soames, part of Guest Worldwide, a Sysco company.
