Our thoughts remain with everyone in the Southeast affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. As of late last week, T-Mobile's operations have nearly returned to full capacity. Our network is fully functional, and all Customer Experience Centers and stores are open. We are proud to have been on the ground, assisting communities with their recovery efforts, and we remain committed to supporting our customers and communities as they continue to rebuild.
Here are some highlights of our response efforts:
Over 600 emergency personnel, including field engineers and technicians, were mobilized swiftly despite the difficult conditions. We restored connectivity for all but 2% of customers and recovered 96% of network sites within 72 hours of each hurricane. Completed over 3,400 site assessments to determine specific restoration needs. Deployed over 800 generators and a large array of connectivity solutions, including SatCOLTs, SatCOWs, mobile emergency centers, and Wi-Fi vehicles, to quickly restore service. Implemented 5,000 real-time adjustments and 230 spectrum layer management actions to enhance backup power and customer service in impacted areas. Conducted 121,000 antenna tilts to optimize and expand signal coverage. Provided free Wi-Fi to over 17,000 people at 46 Red Cross shelters, distributing nearly 5,600 power packs and other supplies. Sent Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) and satellite SMS messages to affected areas. Deployed drones to assist local law enforcement with damage assessments, including debris, landslides, and structural damage. Prioritized restoration efforts in collaboration with federal, state, and local officials to support first responders and public safety operations. Here are some highlights of our response efforts:
We encourage donations to the American Red Cross, which continues to provide essential relief. Additionally, T-Mobile is matching employee donations 2:1 through Benevity.
