TCS bagged the status of Superbrands after the organisation went through the “most recent evaluation of the long-running annual survey”. The said evaluation process marks out the leading “business-to-business brands” in the United Kingdom from the year of 2001. The survey was conducted by “The Centre for Brand Analysis”, wherein “2,500 individual business professionals across the UK” were forming part of its subjects.
Moreover, the survey also stretched its limit and incorporated the “independent and voluntary Business Superbrands Council”, whereby judging as many as “1,500 brands” on three “key” criteria such as: “quality, reliability and distinction”.
The enhanced “brand strength” of TCS has received a certification through the “latest” Superbrands report, while Brand Finance has also recently ranked TCS as “the world's most powerful IT services brand” that scored “78.3 points” and earned “an AA+ rating”. Additionally, TCS has also been rated as the number one company in providing “customer satisfaction across the IT services industry in the UK”.
The leverage added to TCS’s “digital capabilities” also helped raise the profile of the company. As a result TCS came up with “ElectUK app” in the year of 2015 in an attempt to connect all the “General Election voters” of the United Kingdom through their smartphone, whereby using the same as “a big data social media analytics tool”. The “digital initiatives” of TCS has made the company as “one of the most innovative companies in the world” claims Forbes Magazine.
TCS is working with its forty partners for bringing in a change creating an impact especially in the fields of education, health and sustainability. In attempt to bridge the “IT skills gap” in the United Kingdom, TCS has invested into its “‘IT Futures’ programme”. Along with its partners like STEMNET, TeachFirst and MyKindaCrowd, the said programme of TCS has catered to “over 25,000 young people across the UK” to educate them in “IT challenges, coding and application design competitions and classroom teaching”.
