Dailycsr.com – 30 April 2016 – Teck Resources Limited publishes its fifteenth “annual Sustainability Report” which informs about the performance of the company for the year of 2015, while it also enlists its progresses made for its short term as well as its long term “sustainability goals”.
The sustainability report of Teck for 2015, “GRI G4 Core”, touches upon its “economic, social and environmental topics” that the company enlisted as the “most important” ones in line to Teck’s “communities of interest and business” pursued in the year of 2015. Moreover, the report also provides a “complete review” of Teck’s sustainable performance and its approach towards the same.
However, the annual report of the company for the year of 2015, deals further the “financial and operational performance” aspects of Teck.
In order to develop the report Teck “engaged internal and external resources” who conducted a “materiality assessment” besides consulting with the interests of the communities and reviewing the “operating environment” for pointing out the “most material topics” faced by Teck’s business communities over the last year.
The sustainable performance report of Teck for the year of 2015 is broadly divided in three categories, whereby the highlights under each section are:
