Maximus Foundation’s Impact: Celebrating Child Health Day with Nationwide Partnerships

10/26/2023

Observed every year on the first Monday of October, Child Health Day serves as a crucial reminder of the specific health needs of children and the significance of nurturing them to be healthy, content, and hopeful of a promising future.

On this day, parents, healthcare workers, and communities unite to highlight the essential role of regular health check-ups, immunization, and nutrition in preserving the health of children. It also provides a platform to advocate for policies that ensure access to quality healthcare, safe surroundings, and supportive educational opportunities for all children.

The team at Maximus attaches special importance to Child Health Day, demonstrating their daily commitment to facilitating crucial healthcare access for millions of children across the U.S. through their work and philanthropy.

Their involvement with the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) program since its establishment 26 years ago, and currently in 15 states, has enabled them to provide healthcare access. This not only brings financial security but also peace of mind to children and their families nationwide.

This commitment is further exemplified by the Maximus Foundation and our support for numerous partners who share this dedication. On Child Health Day, we take pride in acknowledging several grantee partners of the Maximus Foundation who are committed to ensuring the health, growth, and prosperity of children across the nation.
