Achieving Career Growth and Leadership at GoDaddy in Nottingham
In 2020, I relocated to Nottingham, UK. As the city was unfamiliar to me, I promptly began job hunting, seeking a workplace that values its employees, embraces diversity, and encourages growth. In September 2020, I joined GoDaddy as a Care Sales Guide in the Inbound department. By 2023, I had advanced to an Elevate Lead role, which provided invaluable mentorship and training, enabling me to occasionally step in for Supervisors. Earlier this year, I was promoted to Supervisor within the Inbound department.
What does it take to succeed on your team?
Success on my team requires clear communication, goal setting, and celebrating achievements. I encourage everyone to push their boundaries and try new things, as it often leads to discovering their true potential.
What has been one of your proudest moments at GoDaddy?
My proudest moment at GoDaddy was being promoted to Supervisor. I received global recognition for challenging norms and leading the AmplifAI coaching effectiveness initiative, which measures the impact of my coaching on the Guides I mentor. My consistently high rankings as a Supervisor demonstrate my effectiveness in driving performance and positive change.
How do you feel that the organization supports you to do things that are important to you?
GoDaddy has consistently pushed me beyond my comfort zone, instilling confidence and helping me find my voice. The leadership has provided me with opportunities to learn about various aspects of technology, greatly benefiting my career.
