Wells Fargo Center Partners with Tork for Enhanced Hygiene and Sustainability Post-Renovation

Wells Fargo Center has teamed up with Tork®, a brand under Essity, to boost sustainability, efficiency, and fan satisfaction with advanced hygiene solutions. This partnership follows the $400 million renovation of the Wells Fargo Center, where Tork, the leading name in professional hygiene, will enhance the venue's on-site amenities.

As a key venue for the Philadelphia Flyers, 76ers, and numerous concerts and events, Wells Fargo Center needs precise operational coordination. The collaboration will see the installation of Tork dispensing systems throughout the facility, along with the implementation of Tork Vision Cleaning. This GBAC STAR-accredited software will provide real-time updates to cleaning staff, optimizing hygiene management across over 180 restrooms and ensuring high standards during the 220+ events held annually. The integration of Tork hygiene solutions will help staff efficiently manage resources and meet guest expectations for cleanliness.

Additionally, both Tork and Wells Fargo Center are dedicated to sustainability. Essity, Tork’s parent company, was featured on Corporate Knights’ Global 100 List, recognizing the top 100 most sustainable companies globally. Meanwhile, Wells Fargo Center received the “Best Of The Best Sustainable Practices” award from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Philadelphia in 2023. The partnership includes the installation of carbon-neutral Tork PeakServe Continuous Hand Towel Dispensers, designed to minimize waste and control consumption.

“We are proud to partner with Tork to deliver an elevated on-site experience through sustainable hygiene management,” said Mike Sulkes, General Manager, Wells Fargo Center.

“Tork is our hygiene partner of choice because they help us maintain efficient cleaning operations while supporting our sustainability efforts to minimize environmental footprint. The new technology will allow us to be even more efficient in our day-to-day operations while preparing before events and managing the guest experience during events.”

“Tork and Wells Fargo Center have a shared ambition to lead with innovative solutions that will advance the next generation of sustainable, efficient and high-performance buildings,” said Matthew Urmanski, VP Sales & Marketing North America, Essity Professional Hygiene.

“We are thrilled to bring our award-winning products and services to another world-class sports arena and help to deliver a best-in-class guest experience today and in the future.”
