Bloomberg PORT: Advanced Portfolio & Risk Analytics for Global Investors

Bloomberg has introduced new tools designed to help investors evaluate, manage, and report on the sustainability characteristics of their investment portfolios. These tools are integrated within Bloomberg's widely-used portfolio and risk analytics platform, PORT, accessible to all Terminal users, and the enhanced PORT Enterprise for comprehensive enterprise reporting solutions. 

As sustainable investment strategies diversify and regulatory frameworks evolve, investors require advanced portfolio management tools that incorporate sustainability metrics to make informed decisions, fulfill investment mandates, and comply with regulatory reporting standards. 

To meet these demands, PORT and PORT Enterprise now feature Bloomberg’s high-quality and transparent ESG datasets, including essential ESG indicators mandated by the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), greenhouse gas emissions data for over 130,000 global companies, and Bloomberg’s proprietary ESG scores for evaluating company performance and disclosures. A new dedicated ESG screen in PORT allows users to easily compare portfolios, funds, and indices using detailed sustainability data for each holding. This enables users to identify holdings that do not align with their ESG objectives and to perform trend analysis. 

PORT Enterprise’s reporting capabilities have been expanded to include the newly standardized SFDR report per ESMA’s template, alongside fully customizable sustainability reports. These enhancements assist clients in disclosing their sustainability metrics and complying with EU regulatory requirements.

ESG data is readily accessible on the Bloomberg Terminal via {ESGD <GO>} or through enterprise solutions via Data License at data.Bloomberg.com for use in proprietary or third-party applications in any cloud environment.
