On the 32nd annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day, more than 1,400 KeyBank employees from Northeast Ohio volunteered their time to participate in over 130 projects. This event, which began in 1991 with a group of KeyBank employees in Alaska volunteering for service projects, has now become a leading corporate volunteerism effort in America and a hallmark program that demonstrates KeyBank’s commitment to the communities it serves. By 1993, the concept had been extended to many of the communities served by KeyBank, making it an official day of employee volunteerism.
