The said is an attempt to help start-ups in their effort to develop AI solutions for “advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing and sustainable packaging”. This way, it is aimed to support the manufacturers in making “measurable progress on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals”.
While, Cody Simms informed:
“Dan Fitzgerald, senior director of product sustainability at Stanley Black & Decker, said adopting more sustainable materials is one of many steps manufacturers can take today to make measurable progress on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals”.
Furthermore, he has urged the manufacturers to ask “two key questions” to themselves as a beginning. Here are the questions, as mentioned by Simms:
