Dailycsr.com – 28 August 2017 – In a joint venture, the employees of Orange County’s Arrow Electronics, came together and raised funds to help “Operation Help a Hero”, the latter is a non-profit organisation that is run on “all-volunteer” basis and “provides resources to American service members and their families”.
The employees of Arrows in partnership with “representatives from local technology suppliers” and carried on its “second annual bowling fundraiser” which were contributed in to the above mentioned non-profit. In the words of Arrows’ Field Sales Manager, Mike Wilkens:
“We had another great turnout this year. It is always a pleasure to see our network of suppliers and representatives come together with our Arrow team members in support of a special cause. It was an excellent opportunity to spend time with these folks who already do so much to support our branch.”
Moreover, Arrow also extended a financial helping hand to the volunteering efforts made by the team at Orange County under the “Doers” Programme of “Arrow Charitable Dollars”. Furthermore, the Ethical Performance added:
“Arrow employees from around the world regularly partner with local nonprofits, extending the company’s collaborative and innovative culture into the broader communities where they live and work”.
