Leidos has released its 15th annual sustainability report, reaffirming the company's ongoing dedication to sustainability and its vision for a better future for both the planet and local communities. The report highlights Leidos’ progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, in line with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. It focuses on three primary pillars of the company’s sustainability strategy:
- Promoting Inclusion: Creating a workplace that embraces diversity and ensures fair access to opportunities and resources for all.
- Advancing Environmental Sustainability: Implementing practices that reduce the company’s environmental footprint.
- Supporting Health and Well-being: Leading initiatives that enhance the health and well-being of employees and the larger community.
In his message, CEO Tom Bell emphasized Leidos’ commitment to integrating sustainability into all aspects of the company’s operations, customer missions, and community involvement. The 2023 report highlights notable achievements, including continued reductions in scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2010, the recruitment of over 2,200 veterans and military spouses, and a strong dedication to community engagement through volunteerism and charitable contributions.
