T-Mobile has pledged a total of $50,000 to five nonprofit organizations in Idaho, southern Oregon, and Utah, each receiving $10,000 to support their community-focused programs. The organizations benefiting from these donations include Canines with a Cause in Utah, Faces of Hope in Idaho, the Idaho Humane Society, Kids Unlimited of Oregon, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho.
These nonprofits were selected by T-Mobile employees from the Mountain West region as part of the company's Difference Maker Award, a quarterly recognition program launched in 2023 to honor top-performing employees. Along with presenting checks, employees also participated in a day of service to further engage with the organizations.
The Difference Maker Award has already contributed $300,000 to 30 charities nationwide, with prior recipients located in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Washington, Virginia, and Puerto Rico.
"The Difference Maker Award is about investing in our communities and bringing positive change to our customers’ lives," said Jon Freier, President of T-Mobile Consumer Group. "We're proud to celebrate our Mountain West team’s accomplishments and help improve the lives of people served by these organizations."
