Logitech Earns Spot on DJSI Europe for 5th Year: Sustainability Leadership
Logitech International has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for Europe for the fifth consecutive year, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and climate action. The company’s goal of reducing indirect carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 underscores its dedication to transparency and accountability.

“Inclusion in the prestigious DJSI Europe reflects our steadfast focus on sustainability and innovative design,” said Prakash Arunkundrum, Logitech’s Chief Operating Officer. “Sustainability has become a key value for both consumers and businesses, and we embraced this priority early on. Through the use of advanced materials, technologies, and processes, we are working to lower carbon emissions and promote scalable circular solutions. Sustainability is at the heart of our products, operations, and business practices.”

The DJSI Europe recognizes Logitech for its exceptional performance in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, positioning it as a global leader in sustainability. The company has made significant strides in areas such as supply chain management, product stewardship, climate strategy, biodiversity, human capital management, and human rights, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to accountability and transparency.

Key achievements over the past year include:
  • Incorporating recycled plastic materials in three-quarters of its products and utilizing low-carbon aluminum in over 66 product lines to reduce carbon impact.
  • Labeling the carbon footprint of 66% of its products, with a goal to carbon label all products by 2025. Logitech has also shared its methodology publicly to encourage broader adoption.
  • Partnering with suppliers to facilitate their shift to renewable electricity, earning recognition as a Supplier Engagement Leader from CDP for the third consecutive year.
  • Achieving a 94% renewable electricity footprint globally through direct and indirect purchases.
Logitech’s sustainability efforts have also earned it notable accolades, including an “AAA” rating from MSCI, placing it in the top 15% of the technology, hardware, and peripherals sector worldwide. Additionally, the company achieved “Prime” status in Institutional Shareholder Services' (ISS) ESG assessment and ranked among the Top 5 in Vontobel's Swiss Equities ESG Report.
