Tapestry names Karla Aspiras for Diversity Champion in IP 2022

Tapestry is pleased to congratulate Karla Aspiras, Director, Senior Counsel, on being named a World Intellectual Property Review 'Diversity Champion in IP' for 2022. Individuals in the Intellectual Property sector who are advancing inclusivity efforts within the profession are recognized and celebrated on the Diversity Champions list.

Karla oversees Tapestry's global anti-counterfeiting efforts and is in charge of our brand's IP portfolio, including brand protection strategy and civil anti-counterfeiting litigation. This is Karla's second WIPR honor; she was named to their 'Influential Women in IP' list last year.

She is also an advocate for our EI&D efforts and a member of our Inclusion Council in addition to this work. "To me, this recognition contributes to the conversation of advancing women in the field of IP and sends a message that women can be part of a community that encourages gender equality in professional fields," Karla says.
