Entergy Named to JUST 100 List for Corporate Responsibility & Community Impact
Entergy is honored to be recognized on the JUST 100 list of America’s Most JUST Companies by JUST Capital and CNBC for the third time. Serving customers across Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas, Entergy was previously acknowledged in both 2023 and 2022. This year, the company secured the 64th spot overall and ranked 8th among utility providers.

Each year, JUST Capital and CNBC assess nearly 1,000 of the largest publicly traded companies in the U.S., identifying the top 100 that excel in meeting the needs of all their stakeholders—including customers, employees, communities, shareholders, and the environment.

This recognition reflects Entergy’s strong commitment to key priorities that matter most to Americans today, such as:
  • Providing fair and competitive wages;
  • Enhancing employee well-being, professional development, and work-life balance;
  • Maintaining transparent communication;
  • Investing in community development;
  • Upholding ethical leadership; and
  • Delivering fair treatment to customers.

“We’re proud to receive this recognition once again from JUST Capital and CNBC,” said John Weiss, Entergy’s Vice President of Sustainability and Environmental Policy. “Our business is built on creating lasting value for those we serve, including the communities where we live and work.”

Entergy remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the areas it serves. Through collaborations with non-profit organizations and educational institutions, the company supports programs that address poverty, enhance education and workforce opportunities, assist vulnerable populations, and promote environmental sustainability.

The company has earned numerous accolades for its employee volunteer efforts and community engagement. This includes nine consecutive years on The Civic 50 list by Points of Light, recognition as a Top Utility in Economic Development for 17 years, and seven years as a recipient of the HIRE Vets Medallion Award. Additionally, Entergy—headquartered in New Orleans—was ranked first on United Way of Southeast Louisiana’s 2024 Top 10 Most Generous Workplaces list, marking its tenth consecutive year on the list.
