Pam Klyn, Whirlpool's executive vice president of corporate relations and sustainability, expressed enthusiasm about the recognition, noting, “We are thrilled that our efforts to make a positive difference for consumers both nationally and globally have been acknowledged. To compile the list of America’s Best Brands for Social Impact, Forbes collaborated with the customer insights firm HundredX. From March 2023 to February 2024, over 185,000 consumers participated in an online survey, evaluating brands and products across various categories. The rankings were determined by aggregating ratings in four key areas: Overall Brand Values and Trust, Social Stances, Sustainability, and Community Support.
