The Key4Women Forum, held on October 4th at The Circuit Center in Pittsburgh, was a memorable event filled with motivation, interaction, and bonding. Over 150 individuals were present at the second annual gathering. Melinda Colaizzi, the founder of Women Who Rock, delivered the keynote address.
Cara Sapida, a reporter for WPXI-TV and a mother of two who works full-time, was the event’s host. Sapida bravely shared her personal story of battling breast cancer during the pandemic’s peak. She publicly discussed her cancer journey and her resolve to endure the hardship for the first time. Sapida, an award-winning journalist, penned a book about her experience with breast cancer called “Not the Breast Year of My Life.” The book has been a hit on Amazon’s bestseller list in multiple categories and has sold copies globally.
Kym Gable, a KDKA-TV anchor and reporter, attended the forum as the South Chapter Director of ‘Inspired Women Paying It Forward.’ This women’s networking group held a mini-meeting for the South Chapter where three local non-profits presented their mission and efforts to improve the Greater Pittsburgh community. KeyBank awarded Foster Love a $5,000 grant.
Colaizzi concluded the forum with an impactful keynote speech. The founder of Women Who Rock, a GRAMMY member, and music professional offered attendees advice on discovering their passion and leveraging it for success in life and business.
