Rally for Relief: Duke Energy and Partners Aid Western North Carolina with Essential Supplies

Today, more than 200 Duke Energy employees, nonprofit partners, and additional volunteers gathered in Raleigh for our “Rally for Relief” event to support western North Carolina. Together, we assembled 1,000 emergency kits for the American Red Cross North Carolina, 50,000 diapers through a partnership with the DIAPER BANK OF NORTH CAROLINA, and hygiene kits alongside The No Woman, No Girl Initiative.

These essential supplies will be delivered to the mountain region in coordination with Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and MANNA FoodBank - Asheville, NC. A heartfelt thank you goes to our partners at the United Way of the Greater Triangle for helping make this event possible.
