Could you please tell us a bit about yourself and your role?
I'm a native of Arizona, happily married to my husband, Mike, for a decade now. We're blessed with two amazing daughters aged nine and six. Interestingly, Mike has been with GoDaddy for over nine years now! When the weather permits, Mike and I indulge in activities like golfing, attending concerts, or simply enjoying card games on our patio.
During scorching summers, our family finds solace in swimming or heading up north in our camper to escape the heat. Personally, I'm an avid fiction reader who has recently delved into the enchanting world of fantasy and magic. My journey with GoDaddy spans almost five years. Initially starting as a Contract Recruiter in 2019, I transitioned into a full-time role in 2020. Currently, I serve as a Senior Project Manager for Candidate Care, where our primary focus lies in crafting exceptional recruiting experiences for both internal and external candidates.
Which project has been the most fulfilling for you during your career path?
One of the most gratifying endeavors I've undertaken at GoDaddy was spearheading the launch of a global employee referral and internal mobility tool. This innovative tool prioritizes enhancing the employee experience by streamlining the process of referring friends or applying for internal openings. It provides transparency by enabling tracking of applications and keeping stakeholders informed about any status changes.
In what ways has GoDaddy contributed to your personal growth?
Arriving at GoDaddy, I wrestled with my confidence as a professional, uncertain if my voice would be heard or overlooked as it had been in the past. I approached our "Work Courageously" value with a mix of excitement and trepidation, wondering if it truly embraced diverse perspectives and a culture of questioning norms. However, as I settled in, I discovered that our culture not only talks the talk but walks the walk. At GoDaddy, I've found a space where I can authentically be myself, feeling genuinely valued while continually making meaningful contributions to our customers.
What advice would you offer to prospective candidates interested in joining GoDaddy?
During your interviews, take the opportunity to showcase your true self. Highlight your achievements and successes while also demonstrating self-awareness regarding areas for improvement. It's crucial to enter with a plan for personal and professional development, showcasing your readiness to grow and contribute to our vibrant community.
What guiding principle or saying do you live by?
In my professional endeavors, I strive to embrace the potential of what can be achieved. However, if you were to ask my family, they might humorously suggest that my motto is "Live. Love. Mexican Food."
