Eastman's innovative digital initiative, "Project Balanced," has secured the company's position among the esteemed recipients of the 2024 CIO 100 awards. These awards, bestowed by Foundry's CIO for over 25 years, honor organizations globally for their exceptional achievements in IT, reflecting both strategic vision and operational excellence.
 
"Project Balanced" introduces a digital twin solution designed to facilitate the tracking of Eastman's mass balanced recycled content. This technology enables seamless monitoring from the collection of waste plastic at their molecular recycling facility in Kingsport to the delivery of finished products to customers worldwide. Its transparent and easily auditable framework not only ensures accountability but also facilitates the swift expansion of Eastman's molecular recycling initiatives.
