KeyBank has honored its Buffalo market with the title of 2024 Market of the Year, celebrating the exceptional service provided by team members and highlighting Buffalo’s standout performance among the bank’s 27 regional markets. This marks the second time in ten years that Buffalo has earned this distinction, having first received the accolade in 2016 following KeyCorp’s acquisition of First Niagara Financial Group, which was based in Buffalo.

The award was presented during KeyBank’s annual Chairman’s Awards ceremony in Cleveland on February 25th. Michael McMahon, Buffalo Market President, accepted the award from KeyCorp Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman, Head of Consumer Banking Victor Alexander, and Head of Commercial Banking Ken Gavrity.

As part of the recognition, a traveling crystal trophy will be displayed for the next year at the Buffalo Regional Headquarters located in the Larkin at Exchange Building.
