Keysight is engaged in two new 6G SNS projects:
- UNITY-6G – Focused on developing an AI-native network architecture that seamlessly connects diverse network environments while emphasizing sustainability, energy efficiency, and scalability.
- 6G-VERSUS – Dedicated to incorporating sustainable solutions across six environmentally responsible industries by leveraging advanced 6G platforms to optimize data processing and decision-making.
Running over three years, these initiatives will expand Keysight’s involvement in European 6G research, complementing its participation in four existing SNS-JU projects—IMAGINE B5G, CENTRIC, 6G-SANDBOX, and 6G-SHINE—along with other collaborations across the continent. The Keysight Laboratories teams in Aalborg, Denmark, and Malaga, Spain, will play an active role in these efforts.
These programs will leverage Keysight’s cutting-edge solutions across multiple technology domains to aid in the development of intelligent communication components, systems, and networks. Academic institutions, research centers, and industry partners will utilize Keysight’s expertise in design, emulation, and testing to create prototypes, proof-of-concept models, and test environments. This public-private collaboration aims to drive industrial leadership in 5G and 6G networks and services across Europe.
Giampaolo Tardioli, Vice President of 6G and Next Generation Technology at Keysight, stated:
“We are thrilled to contribute to these transformative projects that focus on building a highly sustainable and scalable AI-native architecture for 6G networks. Our advanced solutions will empower stakeholders to drive meaningful and lasting innovation. We remain dedicated to fostering technological progress, supporting research and development, and facilitating knowledge-sharing across industries and disciplines. Through these strategic collaborations, we will harness collective expertise and resources to address complex challenges and push the boundaries of cutting-edge technologies.”
