She earned this accolade for her dedicated efforts with Loving Our Cities. Additionally, Loving Our Cities received a $5,000 grant to enhance its community support initiatives.
For nearly a decade, Saundra has devoted her time to working with Loving Our Cities, a nonprofit based in New Jersey that focuses on enhancing the quality of life in local communities. Every Saturday, Saundra volunteers at the Hope Winslow Mobile Food Pantry, assisting in the distribution of food to community members. Leveraging her skills acquired as a trainer at Atlantic City Electric, she also plays a crucial role in registering and organizing participants.
Saundra recently celebrated her 38th work anniversary at Atlantic City Electric and attributes her motivation for volunteering to the company's support. She acknowledges the company for providing opportunities for growth and education throughout her career, stating, "The company has been great with servicing me, providing me opportunities to work, to learn, to get educated, and I feel like I need to give back to the community, and the company promotes that."
In 2022, Atlantic City Electric employees collectively volunteered over 10,000 hours, equivalent to more than 1,250 workdays, supporting 125 different events across South Jersey.
