Dow Wins 6 BIG Innovation Awards 2025 for Transformative Technologies
For the ninth consecutive year, Dow has been honored for its innovation by the Business Intelligence Group (BIG). In the 2025 BIG Innovation Awards, Dow secured six wins in the Transformative Products category—more than any other company. This achievement matches the record number of awards the company earned in 2024.

"Receiving six BIG Innovation Awards once again reflects the dedication and ingenuity of our team," said A. N. Sreeram, Senior Vice President of R&D and Chief Technology Officer. "These awards not only recognize our commitment to creating groundbreaking products that meet the evolving needs of our customers but also reinforce our passion for delivering sustainable and impactful innovations."

2025 BIG Innovation Award-Winning Technologies
The following Dow technologies were recognized in the Transformative Products category:
  • ACUSOL Prime 2 Polymer – A biodegradable dispersant with a high bio-based carbon content, designed for automatic dishwashing applications. It enhances shine performance while promoting more sustainable cleaning solutions.
  • AXELERON FO 6321 BK Telecom Cable Compound – A UV-stabilized black HDPE material used for mini- and micro-fiber optic cable jackets. It enables the production of smaller, more efficient cables that are easy to identify and install while offering superior durability and weather resistance.
  • DALPAD A Plus Coalescing Agent – A low-SVOC, low-odor additive used in aqueous coatings and emulsion polymers. It enhances coating performance while improving indoor air quality by reducing SVOC content by over 60%. It also supports lower operating temperatures, ensures stability during freeze-thaw cycles, and enhances crack and scrub resistance.
  • DOWFROST LC Heat Transfer Fluid – A specialized cooling fluid designed for direct-to-chip cooling in data centers, which consume significant energy for temperature regulation. This fluid offers superior heat dissipation, corrosion protection, and material compatibility, helping reduce energy use while extending the lifespan of IT equipment. It is biodegradable and has undergone extensive testing for long-term reliability.
  • DOWSIL TC-3080 Curable Thermal Gel – A high-performance thermal management solution for advanced cooling in high-performance computing (HPC) applications. This dispensable or printable gel has low viscosity and cures at higher temperatures for faster processing. Unlike traditional solutions that contribute to overheating and system failures, this gel maintains consistent temperatures, improving efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
  • TRITON FCX Surfactants – A biodegradable alternative to fluorinated materials, these surfactants enhance paint formulations by improving block resistance and ease of application. Dow’s patented TRITON™ FCX Surfactants provide a safer and more cost-effective solution compared to conventional fluoro-containing options.
The BIG Innovation Awards recognize organizations and individuals who are pushing the boundaries of their industries. Winners are selected by a panel of experienced business leaders based on creativity, measurable results, and overall impact.
