One of our many missions in bringing this vision to life is to assist farmers in developing crop improvements that are more resilient to the threats of climate change, allowing them to secure harvests and better feed a growing global population in a sustainable manner. Short stature corn hybrids, which will be part of a Smart Corn System, are key enablers because they grow 30-40% shorter than conventional corn, making the crop more stable and less likely to break or fall over in high winds.

This increases the likelihood of a better harvest and provides farmers with the confidence to weather the coming storms. We are attempting to improve the quality of life through science.
