Fifth Third Named Among America’s Most Just Companies by JUST Capital & CNBC
For the third consecutive year, Fifth Third has been recognized as one of America’s top-performing companies in key areas that matter most to consumers, as assessed by JUST Capital and CNBC.

Among the banks evaluated, Fifth Third secured the 5th position and ranked 33rd overall out of 940 companies analyzed.

The annual "America’s Most Just Companies" rankings, compiled by JUST Capital, assess the largest 1,000 publicly traded U.S. companies based on 20 key issues. These issues are determined through extensive public opinion research on what Americans value in responsible corporate behavior.

The JUST Capital 2025 Rankings of America’s Most JUST Companies and the JUST 100 list highlight Russell 1000 companies leading the way in addressing the priorities of the American public. Compared to their Russell 1000 counterparts, companies in the JUST 100, on average:
  • Pay 10.6 percentage points more of their workforce a living wage (75.1%).
  • Report a national lowest minimum wage that is $1.95 higher.
  • Offer 16.4 additional hours of career development training per employee.
  • Provide two more weeks of paid parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers.
  • Are 2.3 times more likely to disclose subsidized or backup dependent care options.
  • Are 4.7 times more likely to confirm they do not sell user data to advertisers or marketing firms.
  • Are 2.3 times more likely to report having an apprenticeship program.
  • Emit 48% fewer metric tons of CO2 per revenue dollar.
Fifth Third continues to be recognized nationally for its corporate governance and social responsibility. Recent honors include being named one of Fortune’s "World’s Most Admired Companies" for 2025 and one of Ethisphere’s "World’s Most Ethical Companies" for 2024.
