Vegetarians and flexitarians alike will be delighted with the first option, which is an all-new, boldly flavored plant-based protein, which is a proprietary blend of soy and pea protein, inspired by classic Taco Bell flavors.
The taco is then topped up with grated lettuce, more cheddar cheese, juicy diced tomatoes and low-fat sour cream.
Taco Bell fans can also opt for the taco with seasoned beef. Regardless of the protein, the Crispy Melt Taco is available for just $2.49.

Proprietary plant-based protein may be coveted, as may The Bell ® knowhow to do it, but it's just the latest innovation in Taco Bell's decade-long vegetarian journey.
