Each year, Fast Company honors companies and brands that are driving innovation and creating technologies with the potential to make a global impact. We’re excited to announce that Coachtopia, Coach’s circular sub-brand, has earned a spot on this year’s list for its commitment to shaping a more sustainable and circular fashion future through its Made Circular design philosophy.
A standout initiative in 2024 was the introduction of the Alter/Ego collection—a line of bags made from leftover leather scraps from popular Coach styles like the Tabby and Brooklyn bags. These materials, which might have otherwise ended up as waste, have been thoughtfully repurposed. With this collection, Coachtopia is not only reimagining how to use existing waste but also proactively considering future production waste—taking a major step forward in its journey toward a zero-waste fashion model.
