Allie Kelly Joins Tire Recycling Foundation Board to Advance Sustainability

The Ray recently announced that Allie Kelly, its Executive Director since 2015, has joined the Board of Directors for the Tire Recycling Foundation. Known for her leadership in promoting cleaner and safer roadways, Kelly brings her expertise to this new role.

The Tire Recycling Foundation, guided by the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) and the Tire Industry Association (TIA), is dedicated to funding and supporting research, education, and initiatives aimed at addressing critical gaps in the tire recycling supply chain across the United States. Its Board comprises 15 global industry leaders with extensive experience in manufacturing, recycling, and transportation.

Focusing on achieving 100% circularity for end-of-life tires, the Foundation has advanced tire recycling technologies, with a particular emphasis on innovations such as rubber-modified asphalt (RMA). This material offers improved performance, cost-efficiency, and environmental benefits.

Committed to fostering partnerships and driving innovation, the Tire Recycling Foundation collaborates with key stakeholders to grow recycling markets and promote sustainable practices for managing end-of-life tires.
