Chemours Announces 2023 Carrier of the Year Award Winners
Chemours, a global leader in performance chemistry, has announced the winners of its fourth annual Carrier of the Year Awards, recognizing outstanding performance in transporting Ti-Pure titanium dioxide (TiO2) to customers. Hirschbach Transportation Services received the Platinum Award, while Marten Transport earned the Gold Award. This marks the third consecutive year these companies have secured the program's top two honors.

“These outstanding partners consistently deliver exceptional service, reliability, and safety, ensuring our Ti-Pure™ products reach customers seamlessly,” said Diane Picho, Interim President of Titanium Technologies at Chemours. “Their commitment to excellence strengthens our reputation as a trusted TiO2 provider, and we look forward to continued success through our shared dedication and values.”

Hirschbach Transportation Services, based in the United States, was named North America’s Platinum Carrier of the Year after achieving the Gold Award in the previous two years. In 2023, the company doubled its truckloads with Chemours while maintaining a 100% on-time delivery rate. Similarly, U.S.-based Marten Transport was awarded the North America Gold Carrier of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. Marten increased its truckloads with Chemours by 25% in 2023 and improved its on-time delivery rate to 99%. Both carriers excelled across various performance categories, showcasing their commitment to partnership and operational excellence.

The awards are based on criteria developed by Chemours’ Titanium Technologies supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams in collaboration with CLX Logistics. Carriers were evaluated on metrics such as on-time pickup and delivery rates, customer service, safety, ease of collaboration, EcoVadis sustainability scores, and overall performance. The Titanium Technologies team conducts this assessment annually to recognize top-performing North American carriers.
