Qualcomm’s 2021 CSR report focuses on ESG performance

In its 15th annual report Qualcomm, which has a long history of being transparent to stakeholders around its ESG performance, reported features of the successes it achieved in fiscal year 2020-2021. This includes the progress it made on meeting companywide ESG targets on core issues such as environmental sustainability, supply chain management, diversity, inclusion, and product power efficiency.

During 2021, Qualcomm expanded its pledge to reduce its GHG emissions across its value chain by committing to reach net-zero global operational emissions for Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2040.

The company also joined the Science-Based Targets Initiative ’s (SBTi) 1.5°C Business Ambition and the United Nations’ Race to Zero.
