Republic Services Allows Greater Access To Its Recycling Centre

The Southern Nevada Recycling Center is not only expected to double recycling capacity in the area, it presents an unparalleledresource for recycling education in our community. We encourage customers, school groups and community organizations to visit us, in-person or online, to learn more about recycling and identify ways to be more sustainable.”
The Recycling Centre at Southern Nevada provides the visitors “a rare” opportunity to peek under its working. It offers an “interactive Learning” occasion by exposing its “recycling process” through a “360-degree” “observation deck” situated over all ongoing real-time operations. The learning centre stresses on sustainability in its educational methods, whereby it features “community videos” as well as live video display of its recycling processes.
The said centre aims to be a useful resource for the customers and community members alike, to educate them about recycling. Moreover, it also hopes to welcome tourists visiting Las Vegas as a sustainability “educational destination”. The same was inaugurated in the month of December 2015.
It has a capacity of “processing two million pounds” of “recyclable material” on a daily basis with a seventy tons hourly limit. Moreover, it is a neighbour of an “existing” recycling facility that stretches across “88,000 square-foot”. Both the facilities use “the most advanced recycling technologies” and form the “largest known residential recycling operation” in the region.
