Dailycsr.com – 17 November 2016 – In an announcement the Subaru of America, Inc. revealed its “annual Share the Love Event in 2016”. It will be for the first time this year that “Subaru of America” will not cap its “total donation” made towards the “Share the Love charitable partners”. Moreover, Subaru also hopes to cross a donation “grand total of $90 million” counting right from the start of Share the Love’s existence.
Starting from the 17th of November 2016 to the 3rd of January 2017, for every new vehicle of Subaru either being sold will generate a donation of “$250”. In fact, the same will be applicable to vehicles being leased to the following charities, “Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America and National Park Foundation”, guaranteeing a minimum of “$250,000”.
Besides, the four “national charity partners” of Subaru, other retailers can also “select a hometown charity” which will receive their customers’ support. This year’s Share the Love event of Subaru will have six hundred sixty “charitable organisations” as participants, while the Marketing Vice-President at Subaru of America Inc., Alan Bethke, stated:
“We at Subaru are thrilled to support our national and hometown charity partners for the ninth consecutive year. Through the Share the Love platform we are proud to continue our commitment to the causes our customers care about most and look forward to exceeding a grand total of $90 million donated through this initiative.”
