Dailycsr.com – 28 April 2016 – Workers suffering from “hand injuries” during machinery operations brought a “furniture firm” Jan Cavelle Furniture Company as well as two “safety consultancies”. However, the incidents responsible for bringing the organisations to court were separate and took place in respective premise.
Among the employees who suffered the accidents, was one whose hand got caught in the blade of a “biscuit cutter” while it was rotating. As a result victim’s thumb was chipped off from the bone. Other workers suffered, crush, laceration and other life changing injuries.
