Southern Company Earns 2025 Military Friendly Employer Designation

Southern Company has been recognized with the 2025 Military Friendly Employer designation. This achievement places the company among just 12 organizations that have received the Military Friendly Employer title in at least 18 of the 22 years since its inception.
The assessment process, including methodology, criteria, and weighting, was carried out by VIQTORY, with guidance from the Military Friendly Advisory Council, a group of independent leaders in military recruitment. Final ratings were determined by evaluating survey scores alongside an organization's performance in areas such as recruitment, retention of new hires, employee turnover, and the promotion of veterans and military personnel.
