Dailycsr.com – 22 February 2020 –The three finalist teams of T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge had a surprise in their final leg of the competition. They were competing to win the “Grand Prize at this year’s T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge” for which had to impress the senior leaders of T-Mobile. The team that impressed the leaders the most was to be declares as the winner.
However, as a pleasant surprise this time, all the three teams managed to equally impress the leader, as a result they could not select only one winner and now we have three winners of Grand Prize. The nationwide search for young minds with the potential to change the world for better has finally come an end with all the three winners of each category winning the Grand Prize.
All the thirty selected teams attended the “three-day Changemaker Challenge Lab” while three among them from each category emerged victorious and went on to present their ideas to the “T-Mobile leadership” team. The best part of the competition was that instead of one all three winning teams bagged the “$10,000” fund. In the words of the COO as well as the President of T-Mobile, Mike Sievert:
“The Changemaker Challenge Lab is always one of THE most inspirational weeks at T-Mobile and this year did NOT disappoint — I was blown away! These young people have proven to me yet again that they have incredible stories and ideas and are willing to take big risks to drive positive, long-term change in their communities. We were incredibly inspired by what we heard and look forward to rolling up our sleeves alongside these teams to help them amplify their impact. This is just the beginning of their amazing journeys!”
