Dailycsr.com – 28 February 2018 – On February 26, 2018, the “Women’s Hockey Team” of the U.S. received a welcome from La King at the “STAPLES Center”, wherein “thunderous applause” broke down as the team bagged the “historic gold-medal victory” at the “recent Winter Games” taking place in Pyeongchang.
The King is one of the “first stops” in the team of Women’s Hockey’s “Promotional” Journey, whereby the King conveyed their salutation to the “gold medallists” in the “pre-game program on the ice prior to the team” which was following the lead of “Captain Meghan Duggan” Duggan along with the team performed the “ceremonial puck drop”.
Moreover, the Kings had arranged “a special meet-and-greet with players from the LA Lions”, which is a “youth hockey club founded and operated by the Kings”. The president of Kings, Luc Robitaille, stated:
“We’re thrilled to be a part of honoring a team that represented this country in a tremendous way, on and off the ice, at the recent Winter Games. We strive to inspire the next set of great young hockey players and athletes through various clubs and programs, and we were so fortunate to be able to introduce players from our all-girls youth hockey club, LA Lions, to this Olympic team during their visit.”
Furthermore, AEG informed that:
“The LA Lions Girls Hockey Program was created as an all-encompassing youth hockey program for female athletes in 2015. Designed for all ages and skill levels of youth hockey, the program teaches skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, dedication and commitment”.
